"Light has always fascinated me, be it that of a bright summer's day or a dreary wet afternoon. It has the power to create and affect mood and is a big factor in our everyday feelings. In my paintings I use a range of objects and situations to express a sense of my personal reactions to these changing qualities. The high skies of Wexford create a particular and peculiar light which is always a challenge and an inspiration."
